27 or 28 Lunar mansions

 

Another lunar time matrix used for tracking the position of the moon with the background stars the is the inverse of 13x28, or 28x13, (+1) = 365 days, made up of 13 day "weeks".

There are other versions in addition to the 28 mansions (chinese), including the 28 manazil (arabic) and the 27 nakshatras (hindu).

They can be related to as the houses or postions through which the moon moves through the year every 13 days, and each has a specfic star to mark its position on the ecliptic.
